When water comes in contact with the media filaments inside the fabric pouch, the chlorine ions in the water are converted into harmless zinc chloride. The toxic effects of chlorine, chloramine, and chlorine gas are eliminated with the aid of KDF Formula 73. More chlorine is removed faster if there is adequate circulation of the Crystal Ball in the water. The quartz crystals mixed with the filter material reduce the molecular structure of water into smaller clusters, thereby allowing enhanced sudsing and lathering of soap. KDF Formula 73 (F-73) is a specially processed alloy of 70% copper and 30% zinc. The filament is processed by special machinery which produces a fine, hair-like strand of brass only 60 to 80 microns in thickness, about the same as a human hair.

Each BATH BALL contains 1.5 oz. of F-73 strands which if laid end to end would extend over 4000 feet. This provides the BATH BALL with a great surface area which in turn accelerates the electro-chemical action of the F-73. The Rainshow¹r BATH BALL is absolutely unique. There is nothing that compares. Our specially washed and sun dried quartz crystals help to "energize" the water by reducing the water¹s surface tension.

The Bath Ball is easy to use.  Turn on the tub faucet and immerse the BATH BALL in the water to thoroughly wet the fabric bag. This speeds up the water flow through the filter pouch.  Adjust your water temperature to 105 to 110 degrees F or even warmer. To accelerate dechlorination you can hang the BATH BALL on the tub spout by the cord. This allows for immediate contact of all the incoming water with the F-73 filament.  After filling the tub, swirl the BATH BALL through the tub for 2 to 3 minutes. You may achieve 100% Chlorine removal.  Take the BATH BALL out of the tub to avoid any chance of stepping on it and then return the BATH BALL to the water after you are in the tub. You can swirl the BATH BALL through the water for another minute or two.  Return the BATH BALL to the tub if you add more water.

After your bath, hang the BATH BALL on the faucet or a hook to dry.

For Infant Bathing

• Fill the tub or basin with the bath water at your required temperature.
  
  
• Place the BATH BALL into the water and swirl the ball through the water for 2 to 3 minutes. If you need more hot water just swirl the BATH BALL for a few more seconds.
  
  
• Important. Remove the BATH 2000 from the tub or basin before placing the baby in the water. While completely safe, the BATH BALL is not a tub toy.
  
  
• Hang the BATH BALL up to dry after using.

Important Notes on Hot Tub and Spa Use

• The BATH BALL may be used to remove chlorine from hot tubs and spas, but it may take longer or require two plastic balls because of the greater volume of water than a bathtub.
  
  
• Very Important. Once you have removed chlorine from a hot tub or spa, you must follow the hot tub or spa manufacturer¹s instructions on sanitizing the tubs/spas between uses.
  
  
• If you fail to re-disinfect the tub/spa you could encourage unwanted bacteria or fungus growth.
