Rejuvenator Water Ionizer Installation Instructions

Please read these important notes first!!

The Rejuvenator Water Ionizer Installation

Install your water ionizer at any sink in your house, most common is the kitchen or bathroom.  The diverter lever easily switches between your tap water and the ionized water.  The water ionizer can sit on the counter, on some windowsills or pass-throughs, or it may be mounted on the wall with the bracket supplied.

1. Remove the spout (aerator) from the end of your faucet by rotating counter-clockwise. You may need pliers if it is very tight. Be sure to wrap a cloth around the faucet before using the pliers to be sure you don’t scratch the faucet.

2. If you have threads on the inside of the faucet you will need to use the adapter supplied with your Gold Fox water ionizer - washer side up. In unusual cases, you may have to purchase a different size adapter. These are readily available at hardware stores such as Home Depot. (We do not assume any responsibility for the installation of the Water Ionizer or additional costs for plumbing hardware or professional installation.)

3. Screw the Diverter on to the faucet and hand tighten

4. Position the black electrical wire  through one side, whichever is most convenient for the placement of the water ionizer. )

5. Screw the Diverter on to the faucet and hand tighten

6. Firmly push the white flexible tubing into the open end of the elbow joint until you hear a click and it is secure. Next, with sharp scissors or a knife, cut the white hose straight across at a good length to attach to the diverter, but do not attach it yet. Be sure you allow enough hose to adequately rotate your faucet to both sides.

7. Attach the grey flexible hose (for acid water) to the output tube on the bottom of the unit.

8. Position the grey hose through the space on the side and set the ionizer in its final position.  Using sharp scissors or a knife, cut the grey hose straight across to a proper length so that it drapes into your sink, at least 6" lower than the alkaline outlet hose which will be screwed in at the top of the machine. Allow enough hose length to collect acidic water in a container to be used for external or plant use.

9. Slip the cut end of the white hose all the way onto the nipple of the diverter simply by pushing.

10. Screw the stainless steel flexible outlet hose into the top. Hand tighten. 70% of the water will come out of this alkaline hose, and simultaneously 30% acid water will come out of the grey hose.
